BREWED IN BROOKLYN: Brooklyn, New York was at one time the beer brewing capital of the world with as many as 50 breweries in operation at any given time prior to World War II. In the 1970s however, Brooklyn was in decay and the last of the breweries closed its doors. The renaissance of Brooklyn as the place to be has included a return of the beer brewing industry. BREWED IN BROOKLYN contains many first person accounts about the brewing industry both past and present specific to Brooklyn and includes rare, long forgotten footage. The film was produced by Delaware Valley Video of Lambertville narrated and co-produced by Lambertville residents John Weber and Bennet Aube and Kim Bjorheim of Hellertown, PA. Not Rated; 60 minutes.
Delaware Valley Video is based in Lambertville and has done a number of shorter feature projects including "The History of the Parry Mansion Museum" in New Hope and is currently working on a feature length film pertaining to the 200th anniversary of the building of the New Hope - Lambertville Bridge.
